About Dreams!

"The reason why I can be this far is because I used to be around with people that dare to dream high. And those people have reached their dreams and some are struggling for that. But the point is that they showed me that it is not too late to dream even higher. We may go to different ways but we knew once we were sharing the same dream together."

Kenyon Wanamingo High School 2012 Graduation

My senior year at Kenyon-Wanamingo High School was just over. It seemed that I just started it yesterday, I just could not believe it! I remember the challenge and the joyful throughout the year that I had been through. The journey has been bringing me until this far. Every single step I walk it always gives a special place in my mind and heart. I will never know a lot of stuffs if I decided not to have this exchange year. I realized there are a lot of things grow inside of me. It is all because of the memories I have been having with people around me.

At the graduation day, as I walk to get the certificate of attendance (as an exchange student, no diploma is given) I remember my first day came to this school. Everything turned to be so foreign at that time. Especially, my locker (For those whose locker in my left or right next to mine, they must knew it!), many things happened on the hallway, as everybody gave their warm welcome and greeting. Now, it's time to move on. I'm so glad to know people in this school. At first, they were not as what I thought it would be. However, it is hard to believe that family, friends, and teacher have given me a great memories throughout   my exchange year.

Everything, of course does not happen with exciting and so cheerful all the time. That is the point that make it so remarkable. So, I really thanks to my host family who had given me support and love throughout my senior year. Without them, I cannot imagine how I could do this. I also would like to say thanks for friends that I know at KW High School. The ones who give color on my days at school. Also, Phil and Nancy, my local coordinator, who have given me a lot of knowledge and wisdom about exploring new cultures in U.S. I know it is not yet time to say Goodbye or anything. But, this is what I do to say how much I love them and say my grateful for them to be part of the ones who support me to accomplish and make my senior year at Kenyon-Wanamingo High School.
